Eidolon

The project.

Volery Gallery is proud to present Eidolon , a solo exhibition by French artist Laura Garcia Karras , on view from April 18 to May 17, 2025. In this deeply evocative series, Karras explores the spectral space between presence and absence, giving form to what lingers just beyond perception.

Rooted in the ancient Greek word Eidolon —meaning phantom, double, or apparition—the exhibition becomes a meditation on memory, loss, and the persistence of desire. Karras’s works appear as delicate traces of something once vivid, now fading, like the echo of a body or the glimmer of a vanishing dream.
