Between Days

The project.

Volery Gallery is delighted to announce “ Between Days ,” the latest solo exhibition of paintings by acclaimed artist An Hoang . This exhibition marks Hoang’s debut in the Middle East, showcasing her work for the first time in the vibrant city of Dubai. The exhibition will be on view from June 15th to July 12th, inviting art enthusiasts to explore Hoang’s evocative and dreamlike paintings.

In “ Between Day s,” Hoang continues her exploration of the delicate balance between abstraction and figuration. Her expressive, colorful compositions capture moments of immersion in nature, radiating joy and a sense of hope and possibility. Utilizing a bright and uplifting palette, Hoang’s paintings are inspired by the ephemeral transitions of light and the changing seasons. Her intuitive layering of paint creates atmospheric surfaces, juxtaposed with drawn marks that result in billowing, cloud-like forms. These lyrical abstractions evoke a sense of shifting winds and invented skyscapes, expressing the abstract elements of weather, time, and space.
