A public message made from ribbon, woven into the city’s everyday fabric.
The project.
In April 2020, Rom conceived and designed a ribbon installation on a fence along Umm Suqeim Road. The work translated the stay-at-home message into an accessible public artwork during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Produced by the SAN Projects team in cooperation with BrandDubai and Dubai Police, the installation used the site itself as its medium.
